Neat Family Session Charleston SC Hampton Park

The Neat Family Session was a significant one to this family, who are big on their display of family love. It was an opportunity for them to celebrate their mum while sharing family time. Family sessions like these are a great time to do something together as a family. It's an opportunity for fun, joy, and laughter as you document pictures that become an heirloom to be passed down to coming generations. I loved working with this family and was able to capture amazing photos of them. Here are a few words about the venue where this family session photoshoot took place and the Neat Family themselves.

• The Venue

Hampton Park is one of the most beautiful parts of Charleston. It is located in the North of the City and has many scenic spaces. There are waterfront spaces, a baseball diamond, walking trails, and a playground for kids too. You could pack a picnic and have a great time with your kids here. If you're big on history, you'll be interested in the military statues and canons too. Those who enjoy nature and beauty will like the beautiful oak trees and the lush flowers that abound. Hampton Park actually has one of Charleston's best collection of roses. It was at this picturesque park that the Neat Family Session took place. After, I asked them some questions about themselves, and this is what they had to say.

• When Was the Last Time You Had Family Photos Taken?   

Would you be surprised if we told you it's been a long while? Well, the last time the Neat Family had their photos taken as a family was in the early 2000s. So, we are definitely long overdue for this new one, and we're glad we have a chance to do them now.

• How Would You Describe Your Family? 

The Neat Family has many words that can be used to describe them. Personally, I would describe my family as being fun, strong, and very spiritual. We can definitely count on each other, and that's an important quality to have as a family. We are always there for each other.

• What Is Your Favorite Thing to Do as A Family? 

Our favorite thing to do as a family is to sit around and discuss all our childhood memories. This is always fun, especially around the holiday time. This is an important time when family pictures like the ones we're capturing come out and become very handy to jog these memories. We also love hosting family functions and cooking together. It's a great time to bond and enjoy each other's presence.

• What Do You Want to Remember About This Season in Your Family's Life?

I would want us to remember the smile on our mother's face. It was so important to her to have all of her children and grandchildren together. This was the best Mother's Day gift she could ever ask for. This was all our first time together since 2019. Covid 19 kept us apart in 2020, but luckily it could not do the same in 2021. We are very grateful for the opportunity.

• How Would You Best Describe Your Family's Activities and Interests?

Our family is full of Go-Getters. If we want to achieve something, we do just that. We are also musical, classy, and athletic. We're a very blessed family.

• How Would Your Family Spend A Perfect Day If Y'all Had One?  

If we could have one perfect day, we would want to spend it on an island. That way we can have a fun time enjoying our mother and each other. It would be such an incredible experience.

• How Did You Hear About Us and What Made You Decide to Work with Ray Photography?

• Any Other Unique, Special Things About Your Family That You'd Like to Share?

OUR BOND IS UNBREAKABLE! We also have some of us that enjoy singing and playing instruments. We all have our own individual gifts and talents. It's great that we could all use them to complement and support each other.

• How I Did at The Neat Family Session?

It was a fun, exciting, and rewarding experience capturing the Neat Family at Hampton Park. The family love between them was evident and remarkable. I felt welcomed and had a great time. I wish this family many, many years of joy, togetherness, and happiness.
